Termite & WDO Inspections
Dry rot is wood decay caused by certain species of fungi that digest parts of the wood which give the wood strength and stiffness. The term can be a bit misleading because there must be a source of moisture for dry rot to occur. What may look like dried out or old wood to you might actually be a more serious problem.

Termites and wood destroying insects are a separate issue that can cause damage to wood in and around homes. These insects' main diet is wood which is not good when it comes to structural braces or main components of our houses. Often times, we'll find "mud tunnels" that are a clear sign of termite infestation, but sometimes it's not that obvious. These problems are easily fixable and can be treated by professionals that have dedicated their career to ridding us of these annoying pests.
